Appointment standards

What counts as a qualified booked appointment.

You are paying for a defined thing: a homeowner who met an agreed standard and agreed to a specific slot in your calendar. This page describes the general standard we work to, what is explicitly not promised, and how a disputed appointment is handled. The governing version for your company is the standard written into your partner agreement.

The criteria

A qualified booked appointment generally meets all of the following.

  1. 01

    A real decision-maker

The appointment is with an actual homeowner, property owner, or a person authorized to make decisions about the property.

  2. 02

    Valid, reachable contact information

The name, phone number, and other contact details are the homeowner’s real details, and the homeowner was reachable on them when the appointment was booked.

  3. 03

    Inside your approved service area

The property is within the service area agreed with you before launch — by county, city, or ZIP code.

  4. 04

    One of your agreed services

The homeowner asked about a service you selected, such as resurfacing, tile and coping, decking, or a full renovation.

  5. 05

    Genuine project interest

The homeowner described a real project they intend to move on, rather than a price-check on work they are not planning.

  6. 06

    A specific date and time

The homeowner agreed to a named appointment slot on your calendar — not a vague promise to talk later.

  7. 07

    Not fraudulent

The appointment was not generated through fraud, bots, purchased lists, or deliberate falsification. Those are never billable.

  8. 08

    Within your agreement’s rules

It complies with the written duplicate, cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and exclusivity rules in your individual contractor agreement.

What a booked appointment is not.

A booked appointment is a scheduled opportunity to win work. It is not a promise about what the homeowner does next.

  • That every scheduled homeowner will answer every follow-up call
  • That every homeowner will keep the appointment, or will not reschedule
  • That every appointment will result in an estimate
  • That every estimate will become a signed job
  • Any particular close rate, contract value, revenue, profit, or return on ad spend
  • Any guaranteed number of closed jobs

We guarantee that anything billed as a booked appointment met the agreed qualification and scheduling standard when it was delivered. We do not guarantee attendance or sales. Cancellations, reschedules, unreachable homeowners, duplicates, invalid information, and no-shows are handled under the written replacement and dispute policy in your agreement.

How disputed appointments are handled.

If an appointment does not meet the agreed standard, there is a defined process rather than a negotiation.

1. Flag the appointment

Report it through the agreed channel within the dispute window in your agreement, with the reason it does not meet the standard.

2. Review

We check the booking record, the service area, the requested service, the contact details, and the scheduled slot against the agreed standard.

3. Resolution

If it falls outside the agreed standard, it is resolved under the replacement or credit terms written into your agreement.

The dispute window, the evidence required, and whether an appointment is replaced or credited are defined in your partner agreement. Those terms are agreed before launch, not after a dispute arises.

Confirmed in writing before launch.
